Jeremiah’s Italian Ice Opens in Queen Creek
New frozen dessert shop makes sweet dreams come true
QUEEN CREEK, Ariz. — June 8, 2021 — Queen Creek couple, Mark and Becky Leonard, are excited to fulfill their sweet dream of opening Jeremiah’s Italian Ice in Arizona. The treatery has a cult-like following in their previous home in Florida and has been building a following in the Chandler area since the opening of another Jeremiah’s location last year. Construction on the shop at 20784 E. Victoria Lane. Suite 107 began this Spring and is now complete.
Mark and Becky Leonard, along with the Frog Squad, are ready to deliver flavorful guest experiences to their community. The store officially opens to the public Tuesday, June 8.
“We are excited to finally be opening our doors and introducing Jeremiah’s to Queen Creek residents and visitors,” says Mark Leonard. “It’s more than a frozen dessert shop. It’s a place where people come to connect and celebrate the sweet moments of the day,” adds Becky Leonard.
The new dessert shop is 1,560 square feet and features a mix of indoor seating with couches and tables, plus covered tables and chairs outdoors. One of the walls in the shop features a vibrant mural designed and painted by Jesse Perry, a local award-winning artist.
Jeremiah’s offers more than 40 house-made flavors of Italian Ice, spanning the taste spectrum from Mango to Scoop Froggy Frog (Mint Chocolate Chip), plus seasonal flavors such as Lemon Basil, Pumpkin Pie and Gingerbread. They also serve their own rich and creamy vanilla and chocolate Soft Ice Cream. The dessert shop’s signature treat is its Gelati, which perfectly layers Italian Ice with Soft Ice Cream, mixing and matching flavors in an endless variety of combinations. Guests wanting an extra sweet treat ask for Layer-ins – an add on feature of Oreo Cookie Crumbles, Hershey’s Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips and Cookie Butter Crumbles sprinkled between layers. Jeremiah’s offers free samples of their tasty treats to allow customers a chance to discover their favorite flavors..
The shop will offer in-store service, takeout, delivery through third-party apps and catering. Jeremiah’s also has a J-List Rewards loyalty app, where customers will earn a free small treat when they sign-up. The app alerts customers of special offers, allows them to earn points for free treats and discounts and gives them exclusive access to Jeremiah’s Secret Menu.
