JEREMIAH’S ITALIAN ICE OPENS AT HISTORIC LOCATION IN SAN MARCO

Jeremiah’s Italian Ice, the Italian ice and Gelati shop that encourages everyone to live life to the coolest, opened its doors in Jacksonville’s Miramar/San Marco community on June 20th. Located at 4434 Hendricks Ave, the new location has brought new life to the site of a 1950s gas station in the historic Miramar/San Marco neighborhood. Original features like the garage doors have been preserved while creating a welcoming community gathering space. The Italian ice and gelati shop brings over 30 career opportunities to the local job market where employees serve up delicious treats that let guests live life to the coolest. 

Jeremiah’s also hosted a Grand Opening celebration the weekend of June 24th-25th. From 11am-11pm each day, the community gathered for free samples, half-price small and medium items, lawn games, photos with Mr. Gelati and more. Additionally, the first 100 guests that arrived on Saturday, June 24th, won FREE gelati for a year (restrictions apply).

“We are excited to bring our tasty treats to this historic San Marco location. This marks our 2nd store and the 7th Jeremiah’s Italian Ice location in Northeast Florida. From our signature Gelati to Soft ice cream and Italian ice, we have a lot to offer the frozen treat lovers in the area. We can’t wait to serve everyone,” said Christopher Harvey, owner and operator and Navy Veteran

This new location offers customers indoor seating, patio seating, and carryout options. Each Jeremiah’s location boasts an upbeat atmosphere full of vibrant colors and offers over 40 flavors of indulgent high-quality Italian Ice, as well as rich and creamy Soft Ice Cream. The Jeremiah’s Gelati, which features layers of Italian Ice swirled with thick, homemade Soft Ice Cream offers nearly limitless flavor combinations and is the star of their menu. This location will follow stringent safety protocols and implement additional operational procedures to ensure social distancing and the safety of its staff and guests.

We’re excited to continue introducing frozen treat lovers in San Marco to Jeremiah’s Italian Ice and looking forward to upcoming partnership opportunities with local schools, first responders, and community organizations.
