Jeremiah’s Italian Ice Bringing “Cool” Florida Cult Favorite to Texas

The Premier Frozen Dessert Franchise of the New Decade announces expansion to McKinney as part of national growth plan

Orlando, Fla. – Texas residents will soon be able to try the Premier Frozen Dessert Franchise of the New Decade: Jeremiah’s Italian Ice. The concept has dominated the frozen dessert category in its home state of Florida for over 23 years and has now turned its attention westward with the launch of its highly anticipated franchise program.

The brand plans to bring 7-10 locations to the Dallas area over the next few years, setting its sights first on McKinney. Jeremiah’s has sold additional units in Cedar Park, Leander, Austin and Temple, Texas as well.

Since launching their franchise opportunity earlier this year, Jeremiah’s has sold more than 50 franchise locations across 4 states, including Texas, in just under 6 months, and the brand is looking forward to solidifying its place as a fan-favorite across the southeast just as they have in Florida.

“Our Italian Ice is unlike any other in the area,” said CEO and founder, Jeremy Litwack. “After all, it’s not just frozen ice – it’s creamy, smooth, and decadent with flavor packed into every bite, and is perfectly ‘crave-able.’ With all of our flavors, there is endless possibility, and we’re looking forward to introducing Texans to an exciting, new product that they may not be familiar with. You can’t find Italian Ice like Jeremiah’s in Texas – yet.”

As dessert connoisseurs across the country will soon find out, Jeremiah’s Italian Ice boasts over 40 flavors of indulgent high-quality Italian Ice as well as creamy Soft Ice Cream. A synthesis of these two core products, – the Jeremiah’s Gelati – is the showcase of the menu with layers of Italian Ice swirled with thick, homemade Soft Ice Cream, offering nearly limitless flavor combinations. The Gelati is much like Jeremiah’s itself, respecting tradition while creating the perfect evolution into a modern treat ready to take on the New Decade.

“Our Italian Ice and Gelatis showcase that Jeremiah’s is in a league of its own in flavor profiles, but what we really pride ourselves on are the guest experiences delivered by our genuine customer service and vibrant environment,” added Litwack. “In addition, with an unlimited free samples policy, we are able to better engage our customers – allowing for customization, creativity, and a new flavorful experience every time they visit.  As we expand into new communities throughout Dallas and the great state of Texas, we are looking for partners who are ready to Live Life to the Coolest with Jeremiah’s Ice through the development of their own Jeremiah’s location, a communal gathering place that consistently delivers vibrant, delicious experiences for all of its guests.”

Over its 23 year history, Jeremiah’s Ice has developed itself upon the foundations of an engaging, family-friendly culture. Jeremiah’s has ingrained itself within its local communities, serving as a staple hot spot for local residents and has forged a loyal following, regularly involved with community activities and catering events, from weddings and birthday parties to sporting events and school fairs. Jeremiah’s has been recognized as one of Orlando Business Journal’s ‘Fast 50 of Central Florida,’ one of the Orlando Sentinel’s ‘Best Bets’ 9 years consecutively, and recently received the Orlando Foodie award for ‘Best Frozen Treats’ for the 10th straight year.

With 22 corporate locations and one franchise location open and operating in Florida, Jeremiah’s is on pace to open an additional 10-15 franchises in 2020 as a part of their growth and expansion plans and quest to own the frozen dessert category.

Pivotal Growth Partners (PGP), a holding company that partners with emerging brands and hosts a deep bench of experience and expertise in the Franchising sector, is working with Jeremiah’s to facilitate nationwide growth. Initial expansion plans target the Southeast, including Florida, Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Arizona and Texas.

“Jeremiah’s brings something completely fresh to the table, and the Italian Ice, soft ice cream and, especially, the Gelati are undeniable in flavor and creativity,” said PGP co-founder Cameron Cummins. “Jeremiah’s is going to revolutionize the $28 billion frozen treat industry, and it is the perfect time to join the flavor revolution.”

Including a franchise fee of $30,000, the initial investment for a traditional Jeremiah’s location is from $221,105 – $486,618. A kiosk/co-brand location includes a franchise fee of $15,000 and the initial investment ranges from $98,775 – $202,290.
