7 STEPS TO OPEN YOUR OWN JEREMIAH’S ITALIAN ICE

STEP 1: GIVE OUR TEAM A RING

First thing’s first, let’s talk a little bit. At Jeremiah’s Italian Ice, we want to get to know you, so we’ll set up an initial call to chat together and see if we’re the right fit. We’ll keep things short and sweet—like our delicious frozen desserts—and don’t need you to prepare or bring anything with you this time.

STEP 2: FILL OUT A FROZEN DESSERT FRANCHISE APPLICATION

Since we’ve hit it off so well, our would-be franchise owners are asked to complete a franchise application. Don’t worry, it isn’t complicated—and we’re here to answer any questions you may have as you work through it. This step usually takes just under an hour, giving us enough time to better understand your background and qualifications.

STEP 3: HOP ON A PHONE INTERVIEW

Once your franchise application is ready, we’ll hop on the phone to go through it together. This’ll give you the opportunity to get to know us better, and we’ll find out more about your strengths and potential fit with Jeremiah’s Italian Ice. This step will also take around an hour, and there’s nothing for you to bring besides your cool personality and completed application.

STEP 4: COMPLETE THE DUE DILIGENCE PROCESS

After we talk, our franchise team will send over our Franchise Disclosure Document. All potential franchise owners can then ask us any questions and discuss the document with us. We’ll also walk you through our proforma plan. This’ll help you decide if you’re financially ready for your own franchise. Lastly, you can contact existing Jeremiah’s franchisees or even visit a Jeremiah’s Italian Ice store and experience our franchise firsthand. The entire process will take two to four hours.

STEP 5: ATTEND A VIRTUAL DISCOVERY DAY

One of our favorite moments is the discovery process with Jeremiah’s headquarters. After making your way through a series of online videos, you’ll have the opportunity to meet our Frog Squad. We’ll help answer any questions you may have about the brand and learn more about our franchise options. This part of your virtual Discovery Day should take about thirty minutes over Zoom.

STEP 6: GET APPROVED FOR AN ICE CREAM FRANCHISE

One of our favorite steps: letting our franchise owners know that they’re welcome to join our Frog Squad. After Discovery Day, we’ll be in contact soon to let you know whether we feel like this is the right fit for everyone. If so, we’ll set up a call to confirm your next steps, figure out what your thoughts on territory are, and confirm any operational plans. You’ll then be given an agreement request form and be on your way in fifteen minutes or less.

STEP 7: SIGN YOUR AGREEMENT

Now that you’re a part of our franchise family, everyone at Jeremiah’s Italian Ice is excited to get your onboarding on a roll! Just sign your franchise agreement, and we’ll get you on your feet and franchising. Congrats!
